Description:
Hippychick Hipseat Child Carrier

Winner of a prestigious Practical Pre-School GOLD Award 2009 and SILVER
in the carrier category from Practical Parenting 2009 Awards.

The Hippychick Hipseat child carrier is a back supporting belt, with an integral padded foam shelf, developed to allow adults to carry their children naturally on their hip without the usual strains on the back.

Specifically designed to address one of the root causes of adult back pain, the seat provides a firm shelf for the child to sit on and supports their increasingly heavy weight from underneath.  Instead of twisting the spine, the back stays straight and the child is tucked into the chest on whichever side is more comfortable for the wearer, providing comfort and security for both adult and child.

·         Endorsed and recommended by osteopaths, chiropractors, physiotherapists and health centres
·         Fits all sizes (extension available for more comfortable figures)
·         Fully tested by British Standards Institute
·         Removable lightweight seat
·         Simple, practical and easy to use
·         Secure inner pockets
·         Machine washable
·         Suitable for children aged 6 months - 3 years

When the child is older you can remove the seat and use it as a bum bag/money belt or simply as a straightforward back support.

The Hipseat is made from Cordura fabric, renowned for its durability, style and comfort.  Suitable for use in any environment the Hipseat is machine washable, tough and hard wearing.

Available in black, navy, burgundy or green.  Extension available for more comfortable figures.

Fitting Instructions

1. Breathe in. Wrap belt tight around waist with seat above right hip.

2. Apply velcro. Secure outer safety strap. Swivel round to either hip.

3. Place child on seat with legs astride if facing in, or bottom firmly on seat if facing out.

NOTE:  The snugger the fit the better the support for your back.   If pregnant, consult a doctor prior to use.   Always keep one hand on your child.
